According to police, the latest fatal Dallas car accident occurred on Thursday night when a group of motorcyclists were moving in a northbound direction on Interstate 45 near Loop 12 in southern Dallas.  One of the bikers blew out a tire and crashed, and the rest of the bikers thought that a truck was responsible for the Dallas motorcycle accident.  As a group, they turned around, headed in a southbound direction in the northbound lanes and surrounded the truck driver who stopped in response.  He attempted to put on his hazard lights, but they were not functioning at the time.  A few seconds later, two people riding in a Buick rear-ended the stopped truck and were killed.

The people who lost their lives were identified as 36-year-old Johnnatha Hamilton of Dallas and Derrick Finch.  After the accident between the sedan and the truck, the motorcyclists who had surrounded the truck fled the scene before police arrived.  Two other people, one motorcyclist and another passenger in the Buick were injured and transported to a nearby hospital.
